The ruling All Progressive Congress has dismissed insinuation that the Supreme Court judgment that resolved the leadership tussle in the Peoples Democratic Party constitutes a threat to the party ahead of 2019 General Elections. The APC National Vice-Chairman North-East, Mustapha Salihu dismissed the insinuations while briefing journalists at the Party's National Secretariat in Abuja.
Following the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed the Ahmed Makarfi led faction of Peoples Democratic Party as lawful, some political analysts have been arguing that the judgment has put PDP in a better position to challenge APC in 2019 presidential election.
But a chieftain of APC, Mustapha Salihu maintained that it does not matter who leads the PDP, insisting that the party as a political platform has lost its credibility.
