The new Commissioner of Police deployed to Imo State Command CP Dasuki D. Galadinchi have assured Imolites of his preparedness to fight crime to a standstill in the State.
CP Galadinchi before his deployment to Imo State as the 33rd Commissioner of Police was the Commissioner in charge of Research and planning Police Force Headquarters Abuja.
Speaking with News Men in Owerri, the New CP pledged his commitment and resolve to make sure that Imo state will remain unsafe for criminals.
According to him, "As the Commissioner of Police in Imo State, I have gone round the State and have ascertained the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. The concept I will adopt to make sure Imo state is safe is what I call Community policing. We will do what is called Community engagement where we will look at the inputs and other necessary options", he said.
He warned Politicians in the State that there will not be any scared cow, that anyone found wanting will face the full wrath of the law. He equally advised Imolites to be law abiding. Furthermore, Should there be any complaint, he gave out a phone number 08106160007 (SMS only).
